The PTR name of a mail server address does not point back to it.

PTR_NOT_FORWARD_CONFIRMED · Severity: Warning

• WarningPTR_NOT_FORWARD_CONFIRMED

The PTR name of a mail server address does not point back to it.

Forward-confirmed reverse DNS (FCrDNS) means that the PTR name has an A or AAAA record with the original address. Receivers use it as a basic sign that a server is what it claims to be. A PTR name that is not a valid host name is never looked up.

Recommendation: Give the PTR name an address record for the server's IP, or change the PTR record to a name that has one.
